Every year I choose a word for the year. Last years word was:
And I truly lived it. I put something of myself in every part of creating and life every day.
This year my word is:
At first I couldn’t understand why God would give me this word. It’s not a word I frequently use.
The reason for this is, in the middle or the centre of resilience (a characteristic that I have found very few people seem to have) you find perception. The way we SEE our situation, circumstance or experience will ultimately determine our level of resilience.
If we seek the good in every situation our perception about it will turn positive, leaving us with high levels of resilience. Resulting in an attitude of gratitude toward our situation, circumstance or experience knowing that we can only become better people when our characters and faith gets tested.
If you combine Perception with Persistence you will find that anything is possible. So for 2019 I dare you to remember this equation:
Perception + Persistence =Possibility.
What you see is what you will get. Choose to look on the bright side.
