A touch of nostalgia.

It’s been another busy month. I feel so guilty about not writing as much on my blog as previously, but eversince I started doing nails again and said yes to God my program has been extremely busy every day.

I love being busy and also productive, but I don’t like neglecting other areas of my life too.

This weekend our church’s Operation Compassion team has a food stall at our town’s show. (Fair). So far it’s been wonderful and everyone is enjoying themselves laughing, joking, selling delicious food.

But I can’t help it.

I can’t help feeling a teeny pinch at my heartstrings knowing that by next year this time we might not be here anymore. Next year this time my husband, I and our kids will be far away from here working in God’s plan for our lives.

God expects us to let go of things, but He always has better in store. Anything God expects of us is for our benefit and many times letting go will hurt, but the reward of obedience is so much greater.

God rewards obedience. Especially when you are willing to let go of everything familiar in order to fulfill His purpose for your life.

I am grateful to be a part of the army of the Lord, working with Him in His kingdom.

Love in the Lord*
